Marc Austin Highfill was born and raised in the West End of Richmond and graduated from Freeman High School and VCU with a degree in marketing and a concentration in real estate. He founded Austins, a special event and marketing company in 1986. Marc was named Young Entrepreneur Of The Year for the state of Virginia in 1991. He was previously a partner in another local Richmond real estate firm since its inception in 1999. Marc opened EXIT FIRST REALTY on June 2, 2006. Marc and his three sons continue to live in the West End of Richmond. Marc is an avid Racquetball player and is currently working on his 5th Degree Black Belt in Karate with Grand Master Dong's Karate.
Marc has over 14 years of experience in the residential, commercial and investment real estate markets in Richmond. His team, The Marc Austin Highfill Team at Exit First Realty has been ranked in the top ten sales teams (for units sold and sales volume) by the Richmond Association of Realtors for the past 7 years. His team was ranked #2 for sales volume for all Exit agents in the United States and #4 worldwide for 2012. Marc and his team are the exclusive Richmond affiliate of Homes for Heroes, helping community heroes save money when buying or selling a home. Marc has grown his business and reputation through years of dedication to his clients and use of innovative marketing techniques. The team averages 4-5 sales every week.
